“Dr. Oliver Homburg was born in 1969-08-15 in Germany. In 1996 he got his diploma degree in physics and 1999 he wrote his doctor thesis on blue semiconductor lasers.

In 2000 he started his industrial career at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Regensburg, Germany as product technology engineer for infrared LEDs.

Afterwards he worked for one year at LINOS Photonics GmbH (now Qioptiq) as sales engineer for optical systems.

Since 2003 he is with LIMO GmbH in Dortmund, Germany and had different positions in sales, marketing and product management for beam shaping optics.

Currently he works as senior solutions manager in the department advanced optical solutions.”
